Request Data Deletion

If you would like to request deletion of your personal information from CartSprinkle, please follow the instructions below.

For Shopify Merchants

If you have installed the CartSprinkle app on your Shopify store and would like to delete your data:

Uninstall the app from your Shopify admin
Contact us at tjmapes@gmail.com with:
- Your Shopify store domain (e.g., yourstore.myshopify.com)
- Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
- Confirmation that you've uninstalled the app

What Gets Deleted

When you request data deletion, we will permanently delete:

Your shop information and contact details
All promotion configurations you created
Analytics and usage data
Any other personal information we collected about you

Timeline

We will process your deletion request within 30 days of receiving your email. You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete.

What We Keep

For legal and accounting purposes, we may retain:

Basic transaction records (subscription history) for 7 years
Communications related to legal disputes or fraud investigations

This information is anonymized where possible and kept only as long as legally required.

GDPR Rights

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have additional rights under GDPR, including:

Right to Access: Request a copy of your data
Right to Rectification: Correct inaccurate data
Right to Erasure: Request deletion of your data
Right to Restriction: Limit how we process your data
Right to Portability: Receive your data in a portable format
Right to Object: Object to processing of your data
